Brian T. Keane, Chief Executive Officer
Brian Keane is the chief executive officer for Dextrys. An IT industry veteran, Brian has proven expertise in building high-value business and IT services companies. As part of Francisco Partners' acquisition of Dextrys, Brian was brought in to build Dextrys into the leading global IT services firm leveraging China offshore resources.
Before joining Dextrys, Brian was the president and CEO of Keane, Inc. (NYSE:KEA), a $1 billion business and IT outsourcing firm with over 10,000 employees. Under Brian's leadership, the company transformed from its roots as a regional software services firm into a global provider of high-value outsourcing services renowned for the consistency and quality of its delivery. Brian pioneered many innovative industry practices in the areas of managing, measuring and delivering outsourcing services.
Brian also launched Keane's global delivery model by establishing nearshore facilities in Canada in 1996 and offshore facilities in India in 2001. Brian led the company into the business process outsourcing market to capitalize on the synergies available by combining business processes, IT services and global delivery. He began his career at Mitsui and Company, a leading Japanese trading company.
Brian currently serves as a Trustee of Boston's Museum of Science and the Massachusetts Leadership and Technology Council, and he is an Overseer of the Boys and Girls Club of Boston and the Boston Symphony Orchestra. He began his career at Mitsui and Company, a leading Japanese trading company.
Brian holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor degree from Harvard College. He is a veteran marathoner and competitive sailor, having won several U.S. national championships, and having been named a two-time All-American while at Harvard.
James Tong, President, Asia Operations
James Tong is Dextrys' president of Asia operations, and the founder of Suzsoft Co. Ltd., the China IT development firm which was acquired by Dextrys.
With extensive experience in software development, entrepreneurship and company management, James has also served as a partner at iGlobe Partners, an international venture capital fund, and as the chief architect of Acta Software, where he was responsible for the overall technology architecture and direction of the company's products.
James also co-founded two software companies. The first, ZippyO.com, was an Internet portal that provided educational games for children and online support for teachers using the portal as an active tool in the classroom. The second, iGine Inc., is an enterprise software company that provides channel visibility for companies that use distributors for selling their products. iGine's products have been deployed by Sony, HP and Sun Microsystems. James has also held positions at Xilinx and Oracle.
James received a B.S. in electrical engineering and computer science from the University of California at Berkeley. James also obtained an M.S. in electrical engineering from California Institute of Technology and an M.B.A. from Cal State San Jose.
Joe Hartnett, Chief Financial Officer
Joe Hartnett joined Dextrys in 2007 and has over 20 years experience in key financial roles in both public and private companies in the high-tech and consumer services industries. Possessing experience in public offerings as well as high-growth environments, Joe was most recently Interim CFO at Zipcar, a leading provider of car sharing services.
Previously, Joe held senior financial positions at Mercury Computer Systems and Sycamore Networks, where he played key roles in multiple acquisitions and public offerings. Joe began his career at Deloitte & Touche, and is a certified public accountant. Joe holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Northeastern University and is a graduate of Harvard Business School's Program for Management Development.
Tedford Armistead, Executive Vice President, Solutions Delivery
Tedford Armistead is Dextrys' executive vice president for solutions delivery. Tedford has over 25 years of experience as an IT services and consulting senior executive. A business and technology visionary, he has proven skills in building high-performance client-facing teams as well as the internal mechanisms that sustain them.
Before joining Dextrys, Tedford was the CIO and vice president of IT at Keane (NYSE:KEA), a $1 billion business and IT outsourcing firm with over 10,000 employees. Tedford led the transformation of the company's business model while supporting over 1,000 customers, 80 facilities and 9,000 employees worldwide. In addition, he re-invented the IT department as a global support team that strongly emphasized solid process and project management disciplines.
Previously, Tedford served as the managing director of Keane's $35 million Chicago business unit, where he had full profit and loss responsibilities and led a 300-plus IT services team in support of many of Keane's largest clients. Tedford also held other positions at Keane of increasing responsibility, including operations manager and branch manager. Tedford was also Keane's first director of application outsourcing, helping to establish the practice as Keane's flagship service offering.
Tedford holds a B.S. in mathematics from Allegheny College.
Martha Crow, Executive Vice President, Global Sales
Martha Crow is the executive vice president of global sales for Dextrys, responsible for driving and overseeing the company's global solutions business strategy. Martha brings 25 years of experience in leadership positions within several principal IT professional services firms to this role.
Martha's previous experience includes a seven-year tenure at Keane, Inc., a premier provider of IT and business process services. At Keane, she led the Northeast region while assisting clients with leveraging the benefits of an offshore global delivery model. Martha was also part of the leadership team that positioned the company as a top-tier firm within the emerging outsourcing industry. Earlier in her career, she held a number of sales and general management positions at Entex (now Siemens Business Services) and IBM.
Martha is a graduate of Chestnut Hill College in Philadelphia, PA.
Bob Kramich, Executive Vice President, Global Business Development and Marketing
Bob Kramich is the executive vice president of global business development and marketing at Dextrys. In this role, Bob leads a worldwide team in developing business opportunities for product engineering and IT solutions.
Previously, Bob was the vice president and general manager of Converge, a $470 million global high-tech business-to-business semiconductor and services exchange. Bob was instrumental in the rollout of the electronics exchange from Converge's first Asian operation in Singapore in 1999 and its expansion into Shanghai, China in 2002 and Shenzhen, China in 2004.
Prior to his position at Converge, Bob served as the vice president of marketing for the Time Electronics division at Avnet Inc., a Fortune 500 service provider of semiconductors and related services. Before Avnet, Bob was the vice president of sales and marketing for Park Place Inc., a professional services firm offering Internet development and design services to the financial services and high-tech industry.
Bob holds a B.A. degree from Tufts University and an M.B.A. from Boston College.
